Experience, innovation, and commitment to minimally invasive gynecology
I am a gynecologist specializing in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, hysteroscopy, and reproductive surgery, with over two decades of experience dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of uterine pathology and the pursuit of surgical solutions to preserve and improve fertility.
Since 2002 I have directed the Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery Unit at the Centro Gutenberg in Malaga and I also carry out my work as a specialist in reproductive surgery at the Quirónsalud Malaga Hospital. My clinical practice focuses particularly on minimally invasive uterine surgery and the treatment of those pathologies that may interfere with fertility or the results of assisted reproduction treatments.
Experience with international projection
Throughout my professional career, I have combined clinical and surgical practice with an intense dedication to teaching, research, and the training of specialists, participating as a speaker and professor in national and international congresses and training programs.
I am currently a member of the Executive Board of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and have held responsibilities in some of the leading international organizations dedicated to minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including the AAGL, where I served as Chair of the Hysteroscopy Special Interest Group.
I am also the founder of the Global Community of Hysteroscopy, an international project created with the goal of connecting specialists from different countries, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the development and spread of modern hysteroscopy.
A career dedicated to reproductive surgery
Hysteroscopy and ultrasound have been one of the main focuses of my professional career. In addition to my surgical activity, I have directed university training programs, participated in the training of gynecologists from different countries, and collaborated in numerous educational initiatives related to gynecological endoscopy.
I have also developed an important editorial activity, participating as an editor of several specialized books on hysteroscopy and serving on the editorial boards of international scientific journals.
My professional philosophy is based on combining experience, diagnostic precision, minimally invasive surgery, and technological innovation, always maintaining as a priority offering each patient an individualized treatment based on the best available evidence.
